In Summer 2005 at the University of Kansas The Summer Institute for Writing Center Directors and Professionals will hold an intensive week of stimulating presentations, discussions, mentoring, and fun with writing center colleagues from around the world.

The Institute will provide a mentoring network of professional contacts, including both new directors and a range of veteran writing center professionals.

Leaders are drawn from both large and small colleges and universities, community colleges, and secondary schools, with specialties that range from technology in the writing center to peer tutoring and writing across the curriculum.
