Kairos 12.1 Released

Aug 17th, 2007 | By IWCA Web Editor | Category: Archives

Kairos: A Journal of Rhetoric, Technology, and Pedagogy is pleased to announce the release of Issue 12.1 for Fall 2007. The theme for this issue is digital scholarship — or, to be more specific, a “meta-theme on digital scholarship IN digital scholarship.” As part of this theme, the new Inventio section makes its debut. Edited by Madeleine Sorapure and Karl Stolley, Inventio is (and will be) where authors “explore and showcase the process of creating new media scholarship.”

This issue contains articles from Steven D. Krause, Allison Brovey Warner, and Joe Moxley and Ryan Meehan. In the PraxisWiki are new narratives on composing digital scholarship; the interviews section has an interview with Peter Vandenberg; the reviews section provides perspectives on The Internet Playground: Children’s Access, Entertainment, and Mis-education by Ellen Seiter and Online Learning: All You Need to Know to Facilitate and Administer Online Courses by Mona Engvig.

You are invited to view the issue at http://kairos.technorhetoric.net/12.1/index.html and to discuss it on Kairosnews, sister site of Kairos, at http://www.kairosnews.org
