At last week’s NCTE conference, outgoing IWCA President Clint Gardner officially passed the gavels to incoming President Michele Eodice. Other new Executive Officers include Roberta Kjesrud (Vice President) and Harry Denny (Treasurer). Continuing on the Executive Committee are Clint Gardner (Immediate Past President) and, for another term, Dawn Fels (Executive Secretary). IWCA Executive Officers are elected for two-year terms. Vice President Roberta Kjesrud will receive the gavels from incoming President Michele Eodice in 2009, who will then serve a two-year term as Immediate Past President. This progression ensures a continuity of leadership experience within IWCA’s Executive Committee. The Executive Secretary and Treasurer terms are two-year renewable.
