Six International Conferences!
Jul 18th, 2008 | By IWCA Web Editor | Category: ArchivesAs the European Writing Centers Association observed, “Writing centers are still rather rare in the different educational landscapes… administrators and teachers demand new forms of individualized support for students.”
For this reason, the International Journal of Arts and Sciences (IJAS) has decided to include research presentations about writing centers in all six of its conferences for the new academic year. You are invited to submit an abstract for any of these conferences under the “Teaching and Education” track.
The conferences will be held in Germany, Orlando, Mediterranean Malta, Las Vegas, Toronto and an Alpine resort in Austria. All the conferences are prominently displayed on our journal’s website: http://www.internationaljournal.org/.
In parallel with the academic presentations at our conferences, there will also be free bus tours for the cultural enrichment of our participants. For example, the Germany conference includes free 1-day bus tours to France and Switzerland respectively. The Toronto conference has free tours to the Niagara Falls and Mennonite St Jacobs. Las Vegas has 2 Gray Line bus tours of your own choice — you select 2 from about 10 destinations.
Each academic conference has its own webpage. For example, December’s Germany conference is at:
http://www.internationaljournal.org/germanyconference.html. At the top of each conference’s webpage there are buttons for the other conferences.
We welcome your abstract and participation during the coming academic year, and we look forward to your on-line submission.
