National Writing Project Funds Writing Center Section of NWP Website
Oct 6th, 2008 | By IWCA Web Editor | Category: News and AnnouncementsThis summer (2008), the National Writing Project has granted $10,000 to develop a k-12 writing center resource for their website (www.nwp.org). Jenn Wells (IWCA K-12 representative) is involved with this project.
NWP is the largest and longest-standing teacher development program in US history with about 200 sites across the nation. NWP is funded through the US Department of Education with 23.6 million this year and hoping for 30 million next.
