Conference Date: March 12-14, 2009

Proposals are welcomed from all teachers and educators involved in teaching English as a Second or Foreign language, including those who teach other subjects through the medium of English. This year, for the first time, submissions from such teachers or educators who use English in the classroom to teach ‘content’ subjects – sometimes known as Content and Language Integrated Learning’ or ‘CLIL’ – are strongly encouraged as there will be a dedicated CLIL strand running throughout the conference.

While proposals focusing on the conference theme are encouraged, proposals focusing on other topics will also be considered. However, all proposals should focus on issues concerning the teaching, learning and use of English.

Deadline for submissions: 15 November, 2008.

Submissions from all levels of TESOL education, tertiary and nontertiary, as well as from both public and private professionals in the field are encouraged.
