Southeast Writing Centers Association Announces 2013 Christine Cozzens Research Grants

Gwendolyn N. Hale, Ph.D. and Mr. Ethan Bottone, University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg, VA, for their project, “Virginia is for Writers,” which is designed to begin multiple high school-university writing center collaborations throughout the state.
and
Dwedor Morais Ford, Ph.D., Elizabeth Priest, Pamela Simmons, Angela Steinberg, and Tanya Walker, Winston-Salem State University, Winston-Salem, NC, for their project, “Creating Space: Building, Renewing, and Sustaining Writing Centers at HBCUs in North Carolina,” which will bring together leaders from NC HBCU writing centers for a one-day workshop designed to promote collaboration and to facilitate original research projects.
