Jan 31st, 2014 | By | Category: News and Announcements

The Southeastern Writing Center Association (SWCA) is accepting host proposals for its 2016 conference. We will offer an open forum for potential hosts at the SWCA conference next week in Greenville on Friday from 2:30 – 3:30pm in room 1426.

The SWCA conference draws 250 – 300 participants annually from throughout the region and often from other parts of the country. It’s a great way to showcase the excitement for writing center work on your campus. Previous sites have included Nova Southeastern University, Eastern Kentucky University, the University of Alabama, and the University of North Carolina, among many others. Please check out past conferences for more information.

SWCA is a an exciting organization with a great deal of support for its events each year. Please contact Rusty Carpenter (russell.carpenter@eku.edu) if you have any questions or might be interested in bringing the 2016 SWCA conference to your campus.
