The Division of Student Success at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio seeks applications from qualified candidates for a full-time Writing Center Director. The Writing Center offers individualized support to traditional undergraduate, graduate, non-traditional, and online students across multiple campuses and across a wide range of writing projects, including thesis and dissertation preparation. As Director of the Writing Center, the candidate will provide leadership and coordination in the following areas: hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring writing consultants and undergraduate work-study students; overseeing the planning, operation, and evaluation of the Center; supporting faculty efforts to improve writing instruction; and teaching one section of a first-year writing course in support of our QUEST initiative.
