Writing Center Position
The William L. Adams Center for Writing of Texas Christian University seeks applications for an instructional staff position (non-tenure track, 12-month contract). The position is a renewable one-year appointment.
Responsibilities include a regular teaching load of writing courses, tutoring in the writing center, and other duties as assigned. A master’s degree in a field that heavily emphasizes writing is required; a doctoral degree in English or in a field other than English that also heavily emphasizes writing is a plus, as is experience as a business, technical, or science writer (the center serves students and faculty from all disciplines). Teaching and writing center experience required. Academic and creative publications are a plus. Salary competitive.
