IWCA Logo Contest! (deadline: September 15, 2014)Jun 10th, 2014 | By IWCA Web Editor | Category: Featured Reading
IWCA is looking for fresh ideas for its logo!
The logo should be a high quality image that functions across multiple forums and clearly captures the international spirit of our organization. The winning logo willbe unveiled at the IWCA/NCPTW Conference this October in Orlando. The winner of the logo contest will receive a one-year subscription to both The Writing Lab Newsletter and The Writing Center Journal, a plaque, and recognition in the Conference brochure.
Due to the requirements for high quality printing and resizing, entries must be submitted in scalable vector graphic format (EPS). We advise against the use of half tones and gradients unless the entry is created inside a vector graphics program. Color in this version must be CMYK; no spot colors should be used. Along with the EPS file, please submit a JPG file (1000pixelssquare). If files are too big to send via email, please use a free file-sending service, such as Sendspace or YouSendIt, to submit them.
Submissions from individuals and teams will be considered. However, only one submission per center will be accepted. Those who are interested should coordinate with their centers.
Please note: winning this contest does not guarantee the winning logo will replace the current logo. IWCAmembers will vote on whether or not to replace the existing logo with the winning logo.
Please mail submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org
