Howe Center for Writing Excellence: Program Coordinator/International Programs Specialist to coordinate special events, projects, and outreach; support NNES students at Miami by developing and managing outreach programs and writing workshops; act as liaison between ESL Committee, the American Cultures & English (ACE) program, International Student and Scholar Services and the Howe Writing Center; consult regularly in the Howe Writing Center; provide consultations, workshops, and writing support to graduate students; develop and deliver training materials for the Howe Writing Center; coordinate the work of the Chinese Scholars Program; manage satellite writing centers in Peabody, Bachelor, B.E.S.T Library and Gross Center; coordinate class visits for the promotion of the Howe Writing Center; organize and facilitate student orientations to the Howe Writing Center; participate in ongoing consultant preparation, assessment of the HCWE, and long-range planning.
Require: Master’s degree in Composition, ESL, or closely related field; experience with ESL.
