The International Writing Centers Association is committed to recognizing and supporting the writing centers that work with our K-12 students. Our organization has a board member representing these writing centers and we encourage K-12 educators to contact this representative. In addition, we offer a workshop for K-college educators at NCTE each year. Below you will find resources for those leading writing centers in their K-12 schools, information on building collaborations with local colleges and universities, and a list of texts to assist you in starting a K-12 writing center.
